New Rules Under Phase 2 GHG Regulations
In addition to the new categories, several other new rules have been added under Phase 2. New EPA-specific provisions have been added that are designed to control emissions related to the use of diesel-powered auxiliary power units in new tractors.
Under these new standards, the NHTSA is projecting that trucking industry will save between $7.8 billion and $8.5 billion per year by reducing costs.
